Terms & prices

Order & delivery terms - Your guarantee

  • Our aim is to ensure that you are entirely happy with our Products and our Service.
  • Orders under £57.00 are subject to a minimum £7.50 delivery charge & orders over £57.00 include FREE delivery to the ground floor door within mainland UK.
  • All our prices include VAT.
  • Orders will only be processed upon receipt of full payment.
  • All our items are guaranteed for a minimum 12 months from the Connections at Home delivered date.

Prices & discounts

  • Only a maximum of 1 discount can be used against any single or multiple purchase (note promotions & discounts cannot be combined)
  • In the unlikely case that we are not offering the best price, we will price match but only against authorised dealers selling like for like, original genuine, non ex display & non discontinued products

    Please have your Order Reference ready.
  • In the event that Goods are out of stock, you will be contacted by email or telephone with information on lead times or alternatives. If the delivery time is not acceptable, you will have the opportunity to cancel your order.

Failed deliveries

  • Goods require a signature unless you specify at your risk Safe "if out instructions". If there is no one in to receive the Goods the carrier will endeavour to find a neighbour & leave a note confirming the location of the delivery. If this is not possible the carrier will leave a card. It is your responsibility to contact the carrier to rearrange delivery. We will provide up to 3 attempts to deliver to the specified delivery address but thereafter each failed delivery (due to the customer not being able to receive the goods) will be charged £9.50. If the goods are returned to us the purchaser will incur a further £9.50 redelivery charge. Redirected goods can also incur a £9.50 admin & delivery charge.

    Cancellation of an order following a failed delivery will be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus the cost of delivery & cost of collection (if appropriate).

Damaged goods, returns & cancellations

Every effort has been made to avoid any inaccuracy; however we are only human. If an error occurs in our pricing, images, codes, sizing, dimensions, capacities and descriptions, it is not in any way to mislead our customers and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience.

FREE mainland UK deliveries for all orders over £57.00

All UK mainland orders, totalling £57.00 or more can be delivered FREE OF CHARGE to the ground floor door/entrance. The delivery time for this FREE OF CHARGE delivery service is, generally for our in stock items = 1 to 2 weeks but can take up to 25 working days for out of stock items. Please contact us by telephoning 01702 527545 to find out the quickest delivery time for any of our products.

Working days are Mondays to Fridays (excluding weekends & Bank Holidays). Internal handling, assembly/installation & removing the packaging is available at an additional cost.

Orders under £57.00 are subject to an additional minimum delivery cost of £7.50. To find out the lowest & most suitable delivery cost option, please call our HELP desk on 01702 527545.

3 DAY delivery option is;
delivery time is calculated from 11am of any Monday to Friday standard working days requiring up to 3 full standard working days (i.e. not weekends or Bank Holidays) prior to completing the delivery
applicable to orders under 100kg total per consignment
applicable to any Mainland England address

Please note that our 3 DAY & WEEKEND delivery options, applies to orders up to a maximum consignment weight of 100kg & is charged at an extra rate of £9.50 or £19.00 or £28.50 per consignment.

If you require a WEEKEND delivery outside of an express delivery period, it is £19.00. If you require a weekend & express delivery on or within a 3 full working day period, you will have to add the 2 together ie a total of £28.50 (£19.00 plus £9.50).

Please contact us by telephoning 01702 527545 for advice on the most suitable delivery service, especially if you require a very quick delivery or delivery on a precise date. All orders are despatched as a ‘recorded type delivery service’ using our own vehicles or national or international carriers.

Delivery to anywhere outside of Europe

Our delivery prices do not include for any local import taxes, customs clearance or duties. Which if applicable are the responsibility of the purchaser or end user, at the point of entry, to the destination country. If there are duties &/or import taxes due, the delivery address will be to the closest designated customs terminal location for the purchaser's collection.

Click and collect

When its convenient, you can order and pay for your goods online as usual, and then collect from our warehouse in Progress Road, Leigh-on-Sea SS9 5PR. Select 'Buy & Collect' under the Delivery options when you get to the Basket page. Please leave a note with your order stating when you would like to collect, so that we can make sure that your goods are ready.

Fitting service

Connections At Home can provide a professional skilled fitting service which includes the handling, assembly, positioning & clearing away of any surplus items/packaging — all of which is available at a minimal extra cost.

Delivery time

For the huge majority of our products, the standard delivery time from receipt of payment is 4 to 9 working days but our made to order furniture including upholstery can take up to 25 working days. For a quicker delivery times contact us, or indicate on your order the required delivery date or select the 3 DAY delivery option. Working days are Mondays to Fridays excluding weekends & bank holidays.

Fitted, upholstered & tailor made furniture can take longer to deliver. If you have any concerns or queries please contact us.

Signed deliveries

In our packaging process, we thoroughly protect our products to avoid damage in transit. However, if there is any damage to the external packaging, then the contents must be inspected for breakage or damage. If you then find any damage, the delivery must be signed for noting that the "goods arrived damaged". If the delivery is signed for in "good condition" this will nullify any claim for a refund or a free of charge replacement. All the contents should be inspected & any faults registered with Connections at Home within 48 hours of the delivery.

Returns & Cancellations

Cancellation of orders prior to delivery 

Cancellation of an order that has been processed to the point where the customer has been notified that it is ready for despatch or delivery, can incur a handling charge of up to 19%. This is to cover the transport cost from the manufacturer to our UK warehouse, internal handling & warehousing costs. Where an item has been manufactured as a tailor made solution for our client, in terms of; colours, sizes or design, then there is an 85% charge to cover for the manufacture, transport & handling cost.

Missing or broken or faulty goods

In the unlikely event that you receive an item that has been signed for as broken or faulty, we will replace it Free of Charge. To qualify for a free replacement or refund, the delivery has to be noted as 'damaged' on arrival. We do not cover for damage after the delivery has been "signed for" in good condition. Connections At Home is not responsible for any subsequent damage, after the goods have been signed for in Good Condition.

We may require the items to be returned and we will refund you the cost incurred. Any items that are missing or broken on arrival, must be notified to Connections At Home within 3 days of receipt.

Refunds against returned items

If you decide that the Goods are not appropriate, are unused & still in their original packaging then please advise us by emailing sales@connectionsathome.co.uk. You may return Goods at your cost for a refund on the Goods. All returns will be subject to a minimum £9.50 or 25% charge (which ever is the greater value). This is to cover for the original delivery, subsequent repacking & stocking cost. This cost will be deducted from the refund. The Goods must be returned in perfect resaleable condition, including the original Presentation/Gift Boxes where applicable. Please make sure you provide sufficient packaging protection, to avoid damage in transit of the returned items. Please include the details of your order remembering to include your order reference number.

We reserve the right not to refund or offer a partial refund on returned Goods that do not comply with the above. There may be a handling, repackaging & or repair charge for returned items.

We allow all purchasers up to 7 consecutive calendar days from the receipt date, to return any ConnectionsAtHome items.
