Officina Alessi Bombé Milk Jug - Bakelite Handle & Knob

Officina Alessi Bombé Milk Jug was designed by Carlo Alessi in 1945, who designed many of the famous Alessi collections, such as Scalini and Cilindrica.

This highly polished 18/10 stainless steel jug with mirrored finish features a bakelite handle and knob. Other products designed by Carlo Alessi for the Bombé collection include a matching sugar bowl and teapot.

Alessandro Mendini describes the Bombé collection as a product of the postwar sociocultural climate which holds specific resemblence to the phenomenon of the design and customs that are associated with the first age of Italian design.
