Officina Alessi La Cintura di Orione Steel Shallow Basket, designed in 1928 by Marianne Brandt who is known as the only woman to have worked in the Bauhaus Metallwerkstatt, a school of design founded in 1916, that allowed young artistically gifted men and women to bring art, architecture and craftsmanship into alliance.

This stell shallow basket is a wonderful example of the industrial process of spinning and pressing metals. Steel with mirror polished finish.
